VISA INFORMATION

Letter of Invitation

International participants may require a letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa to attend the International Conference on Rivers and Civilization. All requests for letters of invitation must be received in writing as soon as possible. Requests must clearly state the following about the participant:

  • complete name
  • job title
  • organization name
  • mailing address
  • fax number (if available)
  • e-mail address
  • purpose for attending the conference

Based on the information provided, the conference organizers will determine whether a letter of invitation will be issued to the potential participant, who is then responsible for forwarding the letter of invitation to the local U.S. embassy to obtain a visa. Requesting a letter of invitation to attend the International Conference on Rivers and Civilization does not guarantee obtaining a visa.
